The type you're describing sounds more like a typical Type AB, a healthy mixture of both. It sounds like you're looking for somebody who is deep and reflective as well as confident and at times driven. Stereotypical Type As don't tend to be very reflective because they're so busy getting stuff done. I think guys like you describe DO exist, but they're rare. You'll probably find one eventually if you expose yourself to enough people.

Sounds to me like she let herself get over-excited early on and then realised she was just lost in the moment. Maybe she was on the rebound from her ex and just looking for some distraction. Or she could have been infatuated initially but ended up thinking you're not compatible once she got to know you better. IMO, and this is just me....first impressions count. I put a guy on trial in the beginning. If he starts doing things I don't like, I kick him to the curb.
