I know that we've talked before and he has said to me that he's not ready for marriage, and I agree dually that I am not either. I'm 23 and he's 28 and I need to get myself together financially before I can even fathom being married while he is in a huge transition process from being married to divorce, losing his job and being unemployed (though he works part time elsewhere) and being newly single or "divorced" before his family (many did not even know about his divorce because he feared his ex-wife would file against him claiming adultery because he was with me).

Okay, here's a personal example. When I lived in Japan, one of my teachers took me under her wing. She worked very long hours, which is another unique Japanese trade mark; in order to be considered a good worker, you have to put in a LOT of overtime. I'd see my teachers still in the staff room until 10, 11 at night and there at 7 the next morning. In addition to teaching, she had three children. I had dinner at her house numerous times, would often go to the park with her kids, and I never met her husband. Not once. The children were entirely her responsibility, as well as the house work, even though she worked just as many hours as he did.

I don't make him drink. I always tell him to come out, and not drink... i do not want him to change himself but i want him to start seeing his friends because i believe one day he will regret neglecting his friends. I honestly agree with the body building because it is healthy and i wish i could be dedicated and go the gym everyday too. However, its come to a point where it appears to have gone above obsession.

the one roommate (hes gay) i stopped talking to him because of a stupid argument, she is close with him, hes in a lot of her classes. i dont really have a problem with that. however. he always says negative things about me and she doesnt say much to back me up. she just listens. she always tells me later what he said. but i wish she would back me up especially since im not there.
