Ah, sorry. It sucks and it hurts but as you said, it is what it is. The truth is, you will never KNOW that the next one won't do the same, just as the next one won't KNOW that you won't do whatever has been done in the past to screw with her heart. There's always some risk. But, you will hopefully learn from each relationship, gain better judgement, and figure out who contributed what to the relationship dynamic--both good and bad.
