I don't want to get ahead of myself but if I play my cards right, I think it's very feasible that marriage is down the road. I think because I'm thinking that far down the road that it's messing with me a bit, and there's a tendency to want to go back to status quo (i.e. singleness, freedom) that naturally seeps into my subconscious at times.

You point out that it is advantageous for a woman to choose a capable man with good genes, but then also say the men who would further this strategy are men who experience difficulty attracting women. It is a hugely conflicted theory in that a woman seeking the best genes will be casting her eye on a man who would embody the qualities many other women would want too. If we are to find the best situation as women with the focus on bio drive, women would seek the best looking, strongest, healthiest men to mix DNA with while also looking for a man or two willing to stick around for the day to day stuff.

Sadly, she's not very considerate of me any more although she used to be. She doesn't do nice things for me, and affection? lmao. She's as cold as can be. Now for the harsh part.. I don't want you to think that I'm attacking you, our partners play a role in our behavior too. But since you are asking for suggestions/advice, and not your bf, then this is going to be addressed to you. But you absolutely cannot scream, throw things, or call names. At all. Scream into a pillow, walk outside and yell at the top of your lungs, count backward from 100, or think about puppies and your favorite food, whatever you have to do. But do it. The second you allow yourself to become so enraged that you verbally and physically take it out on the environment around you, is the second you lose. Even if you win the battle, you lost the war. You haven't changed his mind, or gotten him to understand you or how you feel, at that point, all it is is a battle of wills. And I guarantee neither of you will win.
