I wouldn't cut out a great woman because of her knucklehead mother. She can visit her mother, but her mother wouldn't be welcome in our home. If you went to visit her, stay in a hotel. Chris claims he only broke up with Linh because she loved him and he never loved her. Their relationship started out with them just being roomates and sex buddies. Either way, your best bet is to focus on fixing the issues with yourself that you've identified. Make yourself more desirable and give her some space. Don't beg - you're only making yourself look weaker. Let her go and focus on being strong and independent. Stay in touch and make sure she sees the improvement in you. Now I cant seem to make it better, He never seems too be home too (I think to avoid me), I later find out he is hanging out with some of our friends at their house or some of his friends, many times I let myself into his house (I have a key) and slept over thinking that he would have to come home at night anyway. When I woke up, he was sleeping on the sofa. When I asked him about it, he said he had to do some reading and he didnt want to disturb me. I told him I didnt mind it at all, but he did the samething anyway even after that. When I kiss him he is unresponsive, almost like allowing me to kiss him, but he doesnt kiss back- he was not like that, he was always stealing kisses, passionate kisses and was always vaery frisky with me. We haven't made love after the party. From an essay that he was writing I got the impression that he is having second thoughts about me. I felt that he had the feeling that his mom was validated in her belief that crosscultural relationships cause problems and heartbreak in life.
