That's the best answer I can give you absent knowing how old you are. If you are very young, you've got some time to hang around a while and see what he does. If you are 18 or over, I feel you have a right to know what's going on and to reasonably expect more to be happening.

Your therapist may not tell you her true opinion about your girlfriend at first. She'll listen to you talk about it and use guiding questions, with the intent of you eventually figuring out on your own that this girl isn't healthy for you. I bet by session 8, if you are completely honest about your girlfriend, you will be looking at things differently. My boyfriend and I have been together for 2 years. We moved in together after only 3 monthes, and after 6 monthes of being together I found out he was cheating. I comfronted both him and the girl, and in front of her he claimed to never have seen her before etc, but later admitted the truth and asked to come home.
