As far as being friends with the ex..was this his request? I personally could never be friends with an ex, its a little too weird for me. I agree - I actually read the Neil Strauss book. I guess my one problem with it was that the underlying theme was to just get women into bed - I know there's the disclaimer of saying to the girls that that's all you're up for, but that whole side of it made me feel a bit uneasy, like an army of men were being trained to only find out how to get women into the bedroom (even though the author at the end says love conquers all).
