You told your ex that you'd give her your mobile when things calmed down. You know it upset your gf greatly that your ex had the number in the first place, and called you. WHy would you promise your ex, a woman you no longer want in your life, that you would give her the number again later? You're implying to your ex that you wish to continue contact, and take it to a more personal level. Why would you intentionally do something that you know will hurt your gf?

So I saw him again after 8 days (which seemed like an eternity esp. since it was Christmas too). My friend has been really supportive and giving me advice but I think it's hindering me rather than helping. Since she (obviously) has my best interests at heart I think her advice was leading me down the wrong path.

he thinks im being pathetic to be bothered about it and we have argued for 2 days about it. he cant see why im angry and sais "it was never a deffinite arrangment anyway" i feel like he is just pretending he didnt know how deffinite it was so that he doesnt look so rude for inviting me over and then retracting the invite when something better comes up.

On the never calling topic: I would think that if I was actually important to her that she would call me often, but then again, the only person I have ever seen her call was her dad. Also she hangs out with her friends alot, but never invites me to come along or anything. Most of the time we spend together is on dates.
