I'm sorry to say but you fell in love with a girl who just liked you and doesn't feel weird about saying she loves you when she doesn't. It's all good and you will be a wreck for a while, maybe a long while. It's hard to become infatuated with someone and not have them return those same feelings to you but like everybody says NC is the only way to go. Delete the pictures, never go to her Facebook and check her out, and when you have those fond memories just remember you had a good time but she didn't love you the same way you loved her and sometimes that happens.

Take turns talking. No monologues. You should be able to make your point in less than a minute or two. Any longer turns into a lecture and the other person will shut down. If you've been talking for several minutes its time to conclude the thought and ask her thoughts on it.

I think the problem my son has with girls is that he can't tell when they are no longer interested in him. This is a big problem. I suspect the opposite is true. You may have girls at work who are interested but you might not be picking up on their social cues. Or there may be girls you're interested in, but they aren't at all interested and it's hard for you to read them. Then if you come on strong girls may be put off by it.

True, I'm not saying that it's not reasonable to want to guard one's heart, but honestly, if a guy wants to use you that badly, he'll figure out a way to do it in the worst way, I think.
